PolitiGig Counseling Rates

PolitiGig offers a transparent fee structure for our initial strategy and counseling sessions. The hourly rate is based on the type of political race you’re in and the population of the district you are running to represent. This model ensures that our services are accessible and tailored to the scope of your campaign.

Our time is billed in 6-minute increments (0.1 of an hour) and is counted for all substantive communications, including phone calls, emails, and text messages. We believe in providing clear, professional value for every minute of our time.

 

How We Calculate Time:

  • Phone Calls: Time is tracked from the start of the call to the end.

  • Emails & Text Messages: Each substantive email or text exchange (an initial message and any necessary responses) is generally calculated at a minimum of 0.1 of an hour (6 minutes). This covers the time required to read, analyze, and formulate a thoughtful, strategic response. Simple administrative messages (e.g., “OK, got it” or “See you at 3 PM”) are not billed.

 

Local & Municipal Races

 

These rates are for campaigns at the city, town, or county level, such as City Council, School Board, or Mayor (in smaller cities).

  • Small Districts (under 50,000 population): $150 per hour

  • Medium Districts (50,000 – 250,000 population): $200 per hour

  • Large Districts (250,001+ population): $250 per hour

 

State Races

 

This category includes campaigns for State Legislator, State Senator, or other statewide offices (in smaller states).

  • District Campaigns (State House/Senate): $300 per hour

  • Statewide Campaigns (less than 5 million population): $350 per hour

  • Statewide Campaigns (5 million+ population): $400 per hour

 

Congressional & Federal Races

 

These are for campaigns to represent a Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives or to run for the U.S. Senate.

  • U.S. House of Representatives: $450 per hour

  • U.S. Senate: $600 per hour

Please note that these rates are for our counseling services only. We do not charge for or take a commission on any services provided by the freelancers we refer you to.
